1992 -1995 : Melbourne
I
explored all things food, eager to know where to concentrate my
energies in the long term. My professional experience during this time
included work for a top restaurant, a large commercial caterer, the
dietetics department of a large hospital, and freelance food styling
for commercial photography.
1995 – 1999 : Sydney
I
worked predominantly for top end private caterers, contributing to all
kinds of functions and events – large and small – on land and sea. The
diversity of food, decoration and location really broadened my interest
in all these things. My styling work started to include interiors.
1999 – 2005 : Spain, France, Switzerland, Mustique
Managed
a range of top end private properties in the Caribbean (Mustique),
Spain (Madrid & Sotogrande) and Switzerland (Gstaad) which operated
like boutique hotels for my employers family, friends and business
associates. Responsible for all aspects of catering, event management,
decoration and styling. Managed all property renovations, repairs,
maintenance and accounts. Recruited, trained and managed household
staff.
2005 – Now : Melbourne
Working as a freelancer in ‘all things’ food, events and interiors.
